What is the difference bitween "look up" and "look into"?

Generally, the synonym of look up is search.

The synonym of look into is investigate.

Do you know the difference?

When we want to find one information or simple information,

we will use look up.

On the other hand, when we want to know much information or complicated information,

we will use look into.

ex.

I'm looking up the time schedule of the train.

I'm looking into the language school.
It means I'm searching information of language school, and
I will compare them which one is the best.
