12/8 how to study English 24.5

It was a little bit tight schedule today.

I had classes from 8:40 to 1pm, then I met a friend who also take

IELTS exam this weekend. We practiced speaking test. Both of us

think the weakest skill is speaking. We practiced until 3pm.

After that, I went to city library. I found some friends there, so

we chatted and discussed how we should study English.

One Japanese advised me to use English-English dictionary at first

when I search meaning of words. I should guess first and then if

I can not understand what their meanings are, I use English-Japanese dictionary.

It is useful for explaining and understanding words in English.

He also suggested that when we watch some movies, it is better not

to use any subtitles because we concentrate on listening.

If we have some subtitles, we focus on reading.

This is based on some opinions of some professors.

Last week I went to watch a cinema "social network".

This is a story about CEO for facebook.

Actually, I could not understand so much. I understood aroud 20%.

It is far from understanding movies and TV programs without any subtitles.

However, it was good challenging for me.

Keep trying and doing my effor is important.

After that, I studied about an hour then went back home.

I arrived at 7:30pm

I felt so tired.
